Service Pack SP06 for MITCalc version 1.50c (set of all calculations) solves issues described below:

Spur gear internal - Imperial version (Gear3In_01.xls)

- Deals with the inaccurate calculation of the geometric coefficient I (contact) on line [9.15] (Importance - Medium)
- Refines the calculation of geometric coefficient J (bending) on line [9.9] (Importance - Medium)

Spur gear external - Imperial version (Gear1In_01.xls)

- Refines the calculation of geometric coefficient J (bending) on line [9.9] (Importance - Medium)

Spur gear external, internal, planetary - ISO version (Gear1_01.xls, Gear3_01.xls, Gear5_01.xls)

- Refines the calculation of geometric coefficient YFS (bending) on line [9.33] (Importance - Low)

Service Pack SP05 (4/17/2006)

Service Pack - SP05 for MITCalc version 1.22 (set of all calculations) solves issues described below.

Spur gears (Imperial version)

- Not correct calculation of the Contact stress (gear) in line [10.3]. (Importance - High)

Bevel gears (Imperial version)

- Not correct calculation of the Contact stress (gear) in line [10.3]. (Importance - High)

Service Pack SP04 (3/3/2004)

Service Pack - SP04 for MITCalc (set of all calculations) solves all issues from SP01, SP02, SP03 and issues described below. The versions number in brackets indicates the version of standalone calculation where the problem is fixed.

Shafts connection using a key, grooving. (1.11)

- Incorrect setting of some cells for printing. (Importance – Low)
- For selected shaft diameter is firmly assigned the key dimension. This patch allow to select any key dimension (Importance – Middle)
- Incorrect assignment of the key dimension if the shaft diameter is maximum for certain key dimension range. Example:
DIN 6885, shaft diameter 75mm. Is selected the key 22x14 instead 20x12. (Importance – Middle)

Bolted connection (version 1.13)

- Incorrect setting of some cells for printing. (Importance – Low)

Service Pack SP03 (2/18/2004)

Shaft (version 1.12)

- If the decimal separator is other than character “.” (dot), stress concentration coefficients beta are not correctly evaluated in the calculation (Importance - High).

Service Pack SP02 (1/28/2004)

Bolted connection (version 1.12)

- If the "Thread type" [4.10] is changed to metric, the combo box [4.11] is not filled with the respective metric values. (Importance – High)

Service Pack SP01 (1/7/2004)

V-Belt / inch (version 1.11)

- It is not possible to input the pulley diameter from the keyboard [2.4, 6.4] (Importance - Low)

Bolted connection (version 1.11)

- If the type of bolt connection load [1.4] is normal to the bolt axis, the warning [i] regarding the problematic lines of the calculation is not shown (Importance – Low)

Shaft (version 1.11)

- The "Calculation" sheet heading is not anchored (Importance - Low)
- Incorrect switching of unit marking [4.1] (Importance – Low)
- Setting of the right support position is not handled if it exceeds the shaft length (Importance – Low)
